On May 24th, with the unveiling of Korea's latest training list, Shandong Taishan's foreign player Sun Junho was listed. The news implies that Son will miss the 6th and 7th rounds of the Chinese Super League (CSL), when Shandong Taishan will face Guangzhou City and Cangzhou Lions respectively.
South Korea is about to take the plunge into the 40-team tournament, with North Korea's withdrawal leaving the South Koreans with three matches against Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka and Lebanon.
