The news comes to us that on May 20, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) dealt a heavy blow to Chengdu's Li Jianbin, a player in the Chinese League One (CLA) team, for his illegal moves. For speaking out against the referee during the game, and even throwing his bench undershirt at the referee, Li Jianbin was suspended for 10 rounds of the tournament and was required to pay a fine of 100,000 yuan.
Immediately after, Chengdu team official voice, through social platforms to respond to the FA's punishment, promised to implement internal disciplinary punishment for the player involved Li Jianbin.
The official statement mentioned that Li Jianbin was expelled with a red card for showing obvious disrespect to the referee in the 5th round of the Central League match on May 16th. Subsequently, the club received an official disciplinary notice from the FA on May 20th.
Chengdu Rongcheng Football Club accepts the decision of the FA in its entirety and promises to deal with Li Jianbin's violation of the rules and regulations of the club accordingly and internally.
