Recently, the CCTV Face to Face program invited China's women's soccer star Wang Frost to conduct an in-depth interview. During the program, Wang Frost not only reviewed the team's journey of preparation for the war, but also shared her own growth story on the field.

Talking about the preparation process, Wang Frost revealed, "Our training sessions were extremely intense, with the running distance of each session exceeding 10,000 meters, and every player gritted their teeth and persevered." Referring to the key match with the South Korean women's soccer team, Wang Frost was overwhelmed with emotion: "I shed tears in that match, and I felt relieved at that moment. After returning from Paris and facing all kinds of doubts, I was overjoyed to be able to score a goal in a big game and help the team qualify for the Olympics. Especially in overtime, fitness was the key and we were confident that we could come back from a deficit, which is the result of more than 130 days of hard training." Talking about the impact of the epidemic on the Olympic women's soccer qualifiers, Wang Frost said, "During the epidemic, the matches became fragmented, and I, as a Wuhan-born player, experienced the closure of the city of Wuhan. Training at home was limited in intensity, but the mindset gradually changed. During the Spring Festival, the team traveled to Australia to play, and I turned from anxiety to acceptance." "Our training pattern is three points and one line, individual, group and overall repetitive training." Talking about the preparation for the match against South Korea, Wang Frost recalled, "Director Jia often reminded us not to have a psychological burden, win or lose is our responsibility, just show the results of training." Talking about playing for the country, Wang Frost said, "As a Chinese, the sense of honor to fight for the country makes me desire and cherish every opportunity to play for the national team. In the club, the women's soccer league does not get much attention, and the national team stage is the only way to let more people see us and show the sunshine, health and beauty of female soccer players." Talking about the Olympics, Wang Frost is full of expectation: "We are very much looking forward to the Olympics, and believe that women's soccer can make a breakthrough." Recalling the experience of staying in France, Wang Frost mentioned her hometown Li Na: "I have great respect for Li Na's love of tennis and tenacity. When I came to France, I won the respect of my teammates with my strength and actions despite the language barrier and cultural differences." However, Wang Frost did not perform well at the 2019 Women's International Cup. She said, "It was very frustrating when I couldn't contribute to the team on the pitch. I understand that individual progress can't change the team and our national team needs to put in more effort to fight against other national teams." After the International Cup, Wang Frost terminated her contract early with Grand Paris and returned to the national team. She confessed, "During that period, I felt that playing soccer had lost its fun, and it was Jia's guidance that helped me to adjust my mindset so that I could regain my love for soccer."
