Yokohama FC lost 0-2 to Urawa Ruby on the road in the group stage of the JLF Cup Group C on the 19th of today.

Urawa Ruby quickly broke the deadlock in the 3rd minute when Takayoshi Sekine received a precise pass from Yoshiho Koizumi. Then, in the 16th minute of the second half, Yasuya Taimaki scored again with a fierce shot to extend the lead.

Chira Miura came on as a substitute in the 26th minute of the second half, but despite his efforts to fight for the ball, he was unable to find a good opportunity, and the score was 0-2. Yokohama FC needed only a draw to break out of the group stage of the Nippon League Cup for the first time in its history, but the team left the game with a disappointing defeat.
