On April 28, an explosive piece of news sparked heated debate on Weibo. Previously, the Chinese League One powerhouse, Beijing North Sports University, was frequently exposed for issues such as unpaid wages and salary reductions. Although the Chinese Football Association (CFA) has approved its admission, and it was thought that these problems have been properly resolved, however, well-known reporter Bai Guohua disclosed on Weibo today that the North Sports University has once again exploded into a scandal of unpaid wages, and the players and staff members have not received any salary so far this year.
Bai Guohua's microblog reveals, "The Chinese League One powerhouse BeiShiDa is once again involved in a storm of unpaid wages. It is reported that the club's players and staff have not been paid a penny of salary this year, in addition, they also owe nearly 2 million yuan of training expenses during the winter training period at the Hai Ridge Base in Kunming and the Sheffield United Base in Chengdu. It is really worrying to see how the North Sports University, which had forcefully asked its players to take a pay cut, will operate this year."
At present, the former North Sports University player Lv Zheng in order to recover unpaid wages in the network set off a furor, the North Sports University has not been dealt with this issue. The CFA has accepted and ruled on the issue of unpaid wages.
