Wang Jiajie: "It feels okay, we have gone through four stages of winter training and the team's preparation has been going well. We all know that the quality of winter training is directly related to the team's performance in the new season. Kunshan finished third in the Central League last season, and we definitely want to go further in the new season. Many players performed well during the winter training and we also achieved good results in the warm-up matches, all of which have laid a solid foundation for the new season."
After coming to Kunshan, the team has been promoted from Class B to Class A. Can you talk about what you've gained in Kunshan over the past few years?"
The gains have been mainly in both ball skills and confidence. My mentality on the pitch has been consistent and as a player of my age my goal is to attend matches, play football and maintain my form. Over the past two seasons, my attendance has been good and I have been able to maintain my form. Especially last season in the Premier Division, we did well, we just didn't end up with a place in the Premier League play-offs.
Having played in the Premier League, League One and League Two, what kind of knowledge do you have of the three levels?"
The overall strength of the Chinese Super League is stronger, both foreign and domestic players are of excellent level, after all, it is the top league. Last year I played in the Chinese League, and since the Chinese League has a two foreign aid policy, foreign aiders don't play a decisive role on the field, and you still have to rely on the performance of domestic players. However, in the key position, in fact, every team can not leave the foreign aid. Foreign aid still took more responsibility. It's not the same when it comes to the Chinese B. There are no foreign aiders, the team can't rely on them, and the domestic players have to step up to the plate and take on the responsibility. In fact, this is quite good, local players take more responsibility, it is helpful to improve individual ability.
After two years of playing in Kunshan, this is the third season, it's a veteran player, has there been any change in mentality?"
When I came, the team was in the second division, and last year we played in the first division and also entered the Super League group. In fact, I think my mentality in the game has been very stable. Mentality is very important, as a player, if you don't have a good mentality on the field, you probably won't play very well. As I said just now, my mentality has always been very stable, so I hope to keep this mentality and give a good example to the young players to help the team achieve good results in the new season.
When you came, Kunshan is still the second grade team, last year played the first grade also won the third place, this season the team's reinforcement is very strong, the new season also expects to hit a higher target, in joining Kunshan, did you think of this situation now?"
When I came to Kunshan, I felt that this team had a lot of potential. My first year I was on loan to play in the second division, and then I officially moved over in the second year. I always felt that Kunshan FC had a bigger goal, a determination to work hard to move up the table, and not to be muddled, and that's the feeling that the club gave me.

In fact, last year's schedule was still very tight, we played one game in three days, and very often, before we could fully adjust after the last game, the next game came. We finally entered the Super League group, but did not qualify for the play-offs in the Chinese Super League, we still have regrets.
After playing the super group competition, what do you think is the distance between the team and Yatai, the super group, and Zhejiang, the team that won the play-off?"
I think it's the experience, they are all old and strong teams, they all have experience in the Super League, we are still promoted, experience compared to them, we still have a gap.
What competitions impressed you last season?"
The first stage of our and Changchun Yatai's game, that game we beat the opponent 1-0, complete the shutout, after that game our whole team is very happy, because this victory is very critical for us to enter the super group, and finally we entered the super group, completed the relegation task ahead of schedule.
