On April 24th, the new season of the Central League officially started. Last year's "dark horse" Kunshan team locked the relegation qualification in advance, and further stepped into the ranks of the Super League, and finally won the third place in the Central League, a result that surprised many fans. However, some members of the team still feel regret for not being able to reach the qualification for the play-offs for the Super League, and this season, the team aspires to climb even higher.

Preparation for the new season, the Kunshan team from January 10 onwards fully opened the winter training mode, rolling through Haikou, Changzhou, Shanghai, through four stages.

The first stop in Haikou, the team assembled in Kunshan and departed quickly after completing the physical examination and nucleic acid test. In order for the players to adapt quickly, the club's advance team arrived in Haikou a long time ago, inspecting the training site and preparing for the accommodation and food. Logistical support and equipment were put in place in advance to escort the team. The first phase of winter training 30 days, high intensity, to restore physical fitness, strengthen the main strength, follow the rhythm of "three days, five practice".

Between training sessions, the team offers winter training lectures, combining theory and practice to improve players' tactical literacy. The club focuses on teamwork and carries out group discussions, Q&A interactions, etc., encouraging players to think positively, collaborate, and significantly improve their ability to express themselves.

The second phase of winter training continues in Haikou. After the end of the first phase, the team briefly adjusted, five days after the Spring Festival that opened a month-long second phase of training. During this period, the training intensity and running distance were increased, tactics were practiced through several warm-up matches, and new reinforcements were tried out to improve the players' competitive level.

The third phase of winter training moved to Changzhou, where the team started training on March 12 at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center.

The fourth phase of the winter training in Shanghai. March 22nd onwards, for a period of 10 days, four warm-up matches to test the results of training. The opponents were Wuhan Sanzhen, Shandong Taishan, Qingdao and Shanghai Shenhua, and the Kunshan team achieved 2 wins and 2 losses, and the cooperation and performance of both offense and defense improved significantly. Afterwards, the team returned to Changzhou Olympic Sports Center to prepare for the new season.

Surfing the Super League and winning third place last season showed the strength of the Kunshan team. However, the club also realized that the third place finish was somewhat fortuitous as it was the first year of the conference tournament. In the new season, the team will move towards a higher goal.

On the basis of the original players, Kunshan signed 11 new players in the transfer window, including Zhang Chenglin, Feng Bo Yuan and other players who have played in the Chinese Super League, attracting reinforcement action highlights the determination of Kunshan to seek better results in the new season. However, when it comes to the goal of the new season, the team's attitude is low-key, "We don't talk about the goal of the Super League, we just want to play one game at a time, and play seriously, without regrets. Our goal is to be low-key and pragmatic, and let everything take its course. As long as the strength is enough, the time, place and people are all in, the super is a matter of water, so now we have to do is to do a good job, play every game."
