On April 14, China's women's soccer team advanced to the final round of the Olympic Games with the help of Wang Frost, who candidly shared her heartfelt journey to the Olympic qualifiers in a FIFA interview.

Despite hitting three out of three in the two rounds of the tournament, Wang Frost said modestly, "Congratulations on our success in advancing to the Olympics! This is not possible without the joint efforts of the whole team. If we were to choose the best player, I think every single player has made a vital contribution, and everyone has done their best to help the team overcome the difficulties."

"On the offensive end we gave it our all, on the defensive end we pulled together, the team fought hard throughout both rounds and we lived up to everyone's expectations. I want to thank my teammates, the coaching staff and the fans who have been supporting us."

Wang Frost also revealed the team's preparation for the two matches, "We went through 130 days of grueling training, running 10,000 meters every day, and prepared everything for the play-offs, so when we stepped on the field, we also beat our opponents."

Talking about the changes after she finished her stay in China, Wang Frost said, "To be honest, I feel more mature, especially in terms of mental quality. After going through the last Olympics and the first two Women's World Cups, I have a stronger mental capacity. Under the guidance of Coach Jia Xiuquan, we are striving to make a new breakthrough in the Tokyo Olympics. We will do whatever it takes to get good results as a way to reward our fans for their support."
