As night fell, the Qatar World Cup Asian Qualifier Group F match on March 30th was passionately staged at the Chiba Tomita eSports Stadium. The match between Japan and Mongolia witnessed a feast of goals just 12 minutes into the match. Takumi Minamino scored the first goal for Japan with a clever shot. Later on, Osako, Kamada and Morita scored to give Japan a 5-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, Takuma Asano added another goal, Xiang Inagaki, Isao Osako, Junya Ito and Henwu Furuhashi scored twice, and Isao Osako even completed a hat trick. In the end, Japan swept Mongolia by a score of 14-0, equaling the record for the highest score difference in the 2022 World Qualifying Tournament in Asia set by Iran, and just one goal short of the team's all-time high of 15-0 (against the Philippines in 1967).

Prior to the match, Japan topped the group stage with a strong performance, winning all four matches and scoring 13 goals without conceding a single goal. Facing Mongolia, Japan won 6-0. At the beginning of the game, Azumi Ogawa left precise pass, Matsubara Ken right sent a subtle low ball, Takumi Minamino easy to catch the ball, left-footed shot a curved ball, the ball rubbed the goalposts flew into the net, 1-0, Japan's lead. In the 22nd minute, Isao Osako turned the ball around and put in a fine shot to extend the lead again.

In the 25th minute, Junya Ito crossed the ball from the right side of the road, and Daichi Kamada shot the ball in front of the goal, making it 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Junya Ito broke through at high speed from the right side of the road, and Hidemasa Mamorita pushed the ball in front of the goal with ease, making it 4-0. In the 38th minute, Ken Matsubara crossed the ball from the right side of the road, and the ball hit the Mongolian No.5 player, and rebounded into the net, making it 5-0. At the halftime intermission, the Japanese team replaced Hidemasa Mamorita with Takuma Asano (#18).

In the second half, the Japanese team continued to make progress. In the 55th minute, Kamata Daiichi pushed the ball, and Osako Yuya received the ball in the box and turned to shoot, 6-0! In the 63rd minute, Inagaki Sho replaced Kamata Daiichi, and Nakatani Shinnosuke replaced Yoshida Maaya.

In the 65th minute, Ken Matsubara crossed the ball from the right side of the field, Isao Osako took the ball inside the box, but was blocked by many Mongolian players, Isao Osako passed the ball to Sho Inagaki, who had just come on the field, and Sho Inagaki pushed the ball into the goal to make it 7-0. In the 70th minute, the Japanese team replaced Takumi Minamino with No.11 Hyung-Woo Furuhashi, and No.4 Makintoshinosuke Tanaka with Kenzo Tomiyasu.

In the 72nd minute, Henwu Furuhashi took a shot from the right side of the field, the ball was hit by the Mongolian goalkeeper and bounced off the crossbar, Junya Ito caught up and scored a goal, 8-0! In the 78th minute, Junya Ito passed the ball from the right side of the field, the Mongolian goalkeeper counter-attacked the ball and hit it out of the sky, and he himself fell to the ground, Henwu Furuhashi had his head on the empty net, and the ball bounced off the crossbar and went into the front door, 9-0.

In the 80th minute, Junya Ito broke the ball from the right side of the field and pushed a shot into the far corner of the box, 10-0. In the 86th minute, Takuma Asano sent the ball into the middle of the field, and Hyung-Woo Furuhashi pushed a shot into the box, 11-0. In the 90th minute, Ken Matsubara sent the ball into the box, and Takuma Asano pushed a shot into an empty net after passing the goalkeeper, 12-0.

In the 91st minute, Takuma Asano sent a ball from his back heel, and Isao Osako took the ball and shot on goal to make it 13-0. Just before the end of the game, Sho Inagaki scored with a furious shot from the middle of the penalty area to make it 14-0!
