On Saturday, November 2, at 3:30pm, the 2024 Premier League season will see a grand finale. On that day, eight exciting matches from Round 30 will be synchronized.
According to CCTV's weekly broadcast schedule, CCTV5 had planned to broadcast the Super League finale live at this hour, although it did not reveal which match it would focus on.
But on October 30, CCTV5 suddenly announced that it would cancel the live broadcast of the final round of the Chinese Super League and instead broadcast the 2024/2025 China Volleyball Super League Women's Third Round match between Beijing Beiqi and Liaoning Donggang.
Meanwhile, CCTV5+ Sports Event Channel has also failed to schedule live broadcasts of Chinese Super League matches. The current lineup for the time slot includes a replay of the 2024 China Open Women's Singles match, highlights of the 2024/2025 Figure Skating Grand Prix USA, and the thrilling battle between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the 11th round of the 2024/2025 Spanish Primera Liga.
The final game of the Chinese Super League is about the fate of the championship and relegation, with at least five games on the line and all of them on the same field. Faced with such a choice, CCTV Sports may have been caught in a dilemma, and finally decided to remain neutral on each game, not live.
