Manchester United's away shirt design will feature a rendition of Cantona's "Flying Kick". Back at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park, Cantona's authentic Chinese Kung Fu kicks were used to counter the provocations of soccer hooligans, and although he was banned for the match, he became a legend at Manchester United.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, and the Manchester United club has decided to create a shirt that replicates Cantona's classic flying leg move in black, blue and gold. As for the collar design, it has yet to be revealed, but veteran fans will remember Cantona's iconic vertical collar from his Premier League days, which has become part of his legend.

In addition, United's away kit for next season will be purple for the first time in the club's history. The color is inspired by the classic 90-92 season, when Giggs made his Premier League debut in the "Snowflake" shirt.

Adidas have had a love affair with the design and have used the style for the last three away shirt launches, including the third kit for the 15/16 season, the 17/18 away shirt and this season's navy blue away shirt. The distinctive M snowflake pattern on the jersey has become the brand's logo.

According to Adidas, the first purple jersey in the team's history will incorporate three shades of white, lavender and dark purple. United's new jersey is expected to be officially unveiled between June and September next year.
