On the hot summer day, a passionate competition drew to a successful conclusion on the green field in the late afternoon of August 13th. The qualifying round of the Boys' Soccer Program (U18) of the First Youth Three Major Games came to an end, and 15 valiant teams successfully stood out and stepped forward to the stage of the final.
This first national youth soccer event attracted a fierce competition of 30 teams, who were distributed in 7 regions and started an intense and exciting group match. In the end, Sichuan, Guangdong, Jilin, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Hubei topped the group standings by a wide margin, while Beijing, Shaanxi, Liaoning, Jiangxi, Hebei, Yunnan and Zhejiang followed in second place. Chongqing, on the other hand, won the third place by virtue of its outstanding performance.
These 15 elite teams will compete against the hosts, Hunan U18 Boys Soccer Team, for the ultimate championship glory from late November to early December.
