The day before yesterday, the Disciplinary Department of the Chinese Football Association (CFA) issued a heavy ban on Dalian Yingbo's foreign star Karanga, banning him from appearing on the field of play for four matches and imposing a 40,000 RMB fine.
In a match against Guangxi Pingguo Ha Rang, Karanga inadvertently swung his elbow and hit an opposing player in the face in order to fight for the ball. The match came to an end, and the Football Association, in view of the fact that his behavior had a bad impact on the social atmosphere, imposed the above punishment.
Tracing Karanga's footsteps in the soccer world, it is not difficult to find repeated bad deeds in his career. He was heavily punished by the FA for a similar incident when he played for Henan, and in the 2018 season he was suspended for seven matches and fined 49,000 yuan for a goalless draw in a match against Jiangsu Suning.
Heading into the 2022 season, Karanga left the game against Chengdu Rongcheng with a red card after falling to the ground and escalating his violent behavior by kicking an opposing player. After the match, the FA added a three-game suspension and a 30,000 yuan fine.
Karanga, who left Henan for China A side Jinan Xingzhou, was again banned for four matches and fined by the FA for violent behavior without the ball.
Despite having left the Chinese league at the end of the season, Karanga still has a one-match suspension outstanding. Upon returning to Bulgaria to join Central Sofia Army, he was suspended for another three games for disciplinary issues.
Karanga ended up joining Dalian Imbo, but had to fulfill his previous outstanding suspension. However, it seems that the star has failed to reform and has once again been severely punished by the FA for violent behavior on the field of play.
