Argentina: the tragedy of a self-inflicted death

Argentina's Group B opponents - Morocco, Ukraine and Iraq - were expected to win, but the splendor of the 2024 Copa América did not lead to a smooth path to the Olympics. The first game was 2-0 against Morocco, and the second game barely beat Iraq 3-1, only to find some confidence. In the final round of Group B, Argentina was looking forward to sweeping the gloom, but because of the same goal difference with Morocco, they were relegated to second place in the group, while France is easy to get out of the line.

The core of the team, Alvarez, valued at up to 90 million euros and granulated in the group stage, made it clear that he wanted to leave Manchester City and did not want to be Harland's replacement. City also revealed that as long as the receipt of a suitable offer, the release is not impossible.

Group C: Spain's heavy burden

Spain, despite signing teams like Egypt and Uzbekistan, will not have an easy time winning the title. The Spanish team, led by young players, lacks sufficient strength and experience. In the group stage, Spain won 2-0 against Uzbekistan and drew 1-1 with Dominican Republic, barely getting out of the group. In the final round, Spain faced Egypt, which could have secured the first place in the group, but lost due to the disadvantage of the field, and ended up second in the group.

The road to the Spanish national Olympics title this time around seems to be full of challenges.

Group D: Japan, Hidden Championship Seed

Japan, Paraguay, Mali and Israel, a seemingly ordinary group that hides the greatest potential for a title. Japan's national Olympics swept Paraguay 5-0 and beat Mali and Israel 1-0 to finish strong. Although they are tied with France, the goal difference disadvantage allows Japan to only hope for the second place in the group.

Next up, the quarterfinals of France vs Argentina, Egypt vs Paraguay, Morocco vs USA, and Japan vs Spain are undoubtedly the most exciting matchups that fans are looking forward to.

Japan's national Olympic team, although there are no overage players, the young players are strong and full of fighting spirit. Facing such a strong enemy as Spain, it is entirely possible that the Japanese national Olympics will go dark and win the championship.

Japan's national team coach, Mori Boichi, has said, "Although the Japanese Football Association aims to win the World Cup in 2050, it shouldn't be that late." Such bold words can't help but raise expectations for the Japanese national Olympics.
