Led by Son, 15 of the national team's elite, including Song Beom-geun, Jung Woo-young, and Oh Se-hoon, have arrived in Singapore to meet up with the South Korean team at the local training base. Notably, five players, including Lee Gang-in, Hong Hyun-seok, Ha Chang-rae, Park Rong-woo and Cho Woo-min, will also join the squad. The national team players who are serving in the K-League will fly to Singapore the next day to join their teammates due to their league commitments.
South Korea will have a World Cup qualifier against Singapore on June 6th. After the decisive match, they will immediately depart for home to prepare for the crucial match against the Chinese men's soccer team in the second group stage of the World Cup qualifier.
