At the height of summer, the Olympic flame has been rekindled! Looking back at the history, a total of 34 countries and regions have written brilliant chapters on the stage of Olympic men's soccer. In this green battlefield, the Hungarians led the way and wrote their own legend with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

But surprisingly, the European continent doesn't seem to be keen on the event. Many European clubs have even explicitly banned their players from participating in the Olympics. Although the European team was at the top of the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, there have been few bright performances in recent years.

In contrast, Asian soccer has left its mark on the Olympic Games, with Japan winning bronze in Beijing in 1968 and South Korea taking bronze in London in 2012. In 2012, South Korea also won the bronze medal at the London Olympics, while Brazil successfully defended its title at the last Tokyo Olympics.

China's men's soccer team, the last time to set foot on the Olympic field or the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Unfortunately, the Chinese team in the group stage with only 1 draw and 2 losses, the number of goals scored and conceded are 6 embarrassing results early farewell to the game.

Let's take a look back at the glorious moments of the last eight Olympic men's soccer tournaments:

The 25th, 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, which Spain won by a single point.

In the 26th, 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA, the Nigerian team came out on top and won the title.

The 27th, 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, saw the rise of Cameroon to the top.

In the 28th edition, the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, the Argentine team once again spread its wings and won the title.
