Ikone, 26, who played for Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy, joined Fiorentina in January 2022 but has not earned a starting spot in the team. Although Roma have also previously shown interest in Icone, an offer from Qatari side Al Duhail now could lure him away.
Fiorentina have accepted the offer and the key now is whether Durrell and Icone can agree on a personal deal. Duhayler is reportedly willing to offer Icone €3 million a year, double his current annual salary.
