In the spring of March 13th, Guangdong Guangzhou Panthers (formerly known as Guangzhou Leopards) Club, a strong Chinese B team, ushered in two strong reinforcements to join the club, namely Liu Chaoyang of Qingdao Hainiu and Xia Dalong of Shenzhen New Pengcheng. Both of them are striker, Xia Dalong is from Japan Furuya youth training camp, while Liu Chaoyang is the elite of Shandong Luneng youth training.

Liu Chaoyang officially joined Guangzhou Leopards on loan, which was agreed upon after a friendly negotiation with Qingdao Hainiu and the player himself. He will wear the No.17 gown and fight for every game for Guangzhou Leopards in the 2024 season. The 24-year-old son of Chengdu, Liu Chaoyang, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on June 8, 1999. He is 185cm tall and has shown remarkable soccer talent since his childhood. A member of Luneng's youth training system, Liu has been selected for the national youth and national youth teams at all levels since he was a child, and captained the Sichuan National Games team to the final of the men's U-18 team in 2017.In the 2019 season, Liu joined Shandong Taishan's first-team squad and moved to Sichuan FC in the summer of the same year.In the 2020-2021 seasons, Liu played for Shijiazhuang Yongchang and Chengdu Rongcheng.In the 2022 season, Liu played in the Shaanxi Provincial Football League. The other newcomer, Xia Dalong, born on June 27, 1993, is a Beijing native with a height of 190cm, also a striker. Xia Dalong was born in Japan's famous Furuya youth training camp, and was active in the Japanese university league in his early years.In 2019, he joined Baoding Rongda, and played 31 games for the team, contributing 8 goals.In 2020, Xia Dalong transferred to Shenzhen Xinpengcheng, and in three seasons, he made 81 appearances, scored 12 goals and delivered 2 assists.In the 2023 season, Xia Dalong won the Central League Championship with the team. As a senior center forward, Xia Dalong has excellent physical condition, significant pivot role, sharp awareness and flexible movement. His arrival will undoubtedly improve the height and hardness of the team's front field. We expect Xia Dalong to quickly integrate into the team and provide stronger firepower support for the offensive line!
