On March 11th, the Changchun Yatai U21 team's intense preparations in Haikou came to an end, and the players had a five-day long vacation. 17th, they will regroup at Yatai's Jingyue base to prepare for the upcoming 2024 CFA U21 League, which will start in April.
Recall that on December 20, 2023, Changchun Yatai U21 team has been stationed in Haikou to start the winter preparation for the new season. After three months, they crossed three stages of preparation and accomplished both physical fitness and technical and tactical improvement.
In the new season, up-and-coming players such as Wu Junjie, Wei Feng and Zhao Xiaolong have been successfully promoted to the first team, while U21 players such as Song Ziwenhao, Shi Lishan and Huang Yushen have been loaned out to the Central League team to sharpen their skills. The coaching team also conducted detailed assessment of the players in between the preparations for the match, in order to optimize the lineup.
On March 17, Changchun Yatai U21 team will gather at Yatai Jingyue Base to summarize the results of winter training in Haikou and make final preparations for the upcoming U21 League at home. At that time, they will also select youth players with outstanding performance to enhance the strength of the team.
