On March 3, the first round of the 2024 Chinese Super League (CSL) season was completed, and the figures of Xinjiang players were all over the CSL teams. This season, a total of 10 Chinese Super League teams registered 24 players from Xinjiang, setting a new record for the number of Xinjiang players in the first team of the Chinese Super League.
Chengdu Rongcheng and Wuhan teams have become the gathering place for Xinjiang players. Shandong Taishan, as a champion team, has produced many Xinjiang players from its youth training system, such as Muzhehebuaitijiang, Abdul Meisuli and Buyurang. This season, they will continue to shine in the Chinese Super League.
Nebi Jiang Mohammedi, who led Xinjiang to a second-place finish at the 2021 National Games as captain of the National Youth Football Team, has now stabilized his position as a starter for Guoan. Nur Eli Abbas, on the other hand, is a substitute goalkeeper for Guoan, celebrating his first season in the Chinese Super League.
24-year-old Yelijan Shnar and Nuayli Zimin, one who contributed assists in Nantong Zhiyun and one who excelled in the First Division, are both set to kick off their Chinese Super League careers.
Abdu Hemiti and Sabiti Abdulshalam, who played for Xinjiang Tianshan Snow Leopard, have moved to Changchun Yatai this season and are looking forward to better performances in their new environment.
