In 2022, Embalo embarked on a soccer tour of Asia, joining Malaysia's Sabah and Lebanon's Beirut Stars Sports to begin his career in exotic leagues.
In the same year, he was called up to the national team and the Guinea-Bissau men's soccer team, ranked 118th, burst onto the FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) world stage. Embalo scored twice in his debut match for the national team against Equatorial Guinea, helping his team to win all three points with a 3-0 scoreline.
