Gu Ying posted a photo on Weibo and revealed, "As the Spring Festival approaches, two key events in China's soccer world are closely linked to Tianjin in March. One is that the national football team is actively looking for a home ground, and the other is that the organizing committee of the Chinese Super League (CSL) is negotiating with the Jinmen Tiger Club and the Tianjin Match Area on the feasibility of the opening ceremony of the new season. Although the TEDA Stadium was used as the venue for the opening ceremony of the first year of the Chinese Super League in 2004, it is of great significance that the opening ceremony will be held there again after a lapse of 20 years. However, after a comprehensive consideration of the current situation, weighing the eagerness of the regions, and finally decided that the opening ceremony of the new season will not be held in Tianjin. Nevertheless, the national soccer team will sail to Tianjin."

In accordance with the established schedule, the national football team will face Singapore and Thailand in the main battlefield of 36 world qualifiers in March and June this year.
