A buyout bonanza involving Sir Ratcliffe was about to unfold when Premier League Women's Football officials gave the go-ahead on February 15th and the FA then confirmed it. Board members of the Manchester United Women's Football Team (MUWF) gave their approval, and a whopping $300 million deal catapulted Sir Ratcliffe to the throne of MUWF.
The news comes on the heels of good news from Premier League officials that, after a series of rigorous vetting, the Premier League board has rubber-stamped the deal and is looking forward to its follow-on investment. Currently, the Premier League is closely monitoring the progress of the deal and looking forward to its smooth landing.
Back to the end of December last year, Manchester United officially announced that Jim Ratcliffe's Inrix Group has successfully acquired 25% of the shares of Manchester United FC and is about to take over the soccer business of Manchester United in full. According to Sir Ratcliffe, the acquisition amounted to about 1.3 billion pounds, undoubtedly bringing new vitality to Manchester United.
