Many teams tend to rush to Shenzhen because of the city's generous support policies for the soccer industry. Shenzhen B clubs enjoy special funds to subsidize the sports industry. In recent seasons, each Chinese Super League soccer club in Shenzhen can receive 60 million yuan of special funds each year, of which 35 million yuan is subsidized by the municipal government and 25 million yuan by the Longgang District Government.
