Shocking the football world! On December 18th, Croatian veteran Ivan Fioric, 27 years old, will bid farewell to the familiar Croatian League and move to the Chinese Super League stage. Osijek officially announced that the midfielder has reached a joining agreement with Tianjin Jinmen Tigers of the Chinese Super League.
The move marks the opening of the new Chinese Super League season for reinforcements. Osijek's announcement reveals that Fioric has amicably terminated his contract with the team and is now in the arms of Tianjin Teda as a free agent.
Fiorici said, "I have signed a two-year deal with Zim Tigers and will join the team training on January 3rd. I am eager to leave a longer footprint there beyond the limits of this contract."
The 27-year-old Croatian midfielder, the pride of Dinamo Zagreb's youth academy, has had a career that has taken him to clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Lokomotiv Zagreb, Henck, Larnaca, and Krakowija.In the summer of 2021, Fiorellovic joined Osijek as a free agent. This season, he has made 15 appearances for Osijek, contributing two goals and one assist. He is currently valued at €850,000 on the market.
It's worth noting that Fioric has never been able to play for the adult national team, despite having been a part of the Croatian national team at the U21 level and below.
