Italian newspaper Sport Turin has revealed that a high-profile soccer deal is quietly brewing between Zuyundas and Manchester United. Serie A giants Zuyundas plan to use Brazilian midfielder Douglas Reus as a bargaining chip in exchange for Manchester United striker Joshua Shukes. The pair have made few appearances despite having just completed a transfer this summer and now seem to be turning a corner.
Zuyuntas have long favored Dutch shot-stopper Joshua Schukes. And new Manchester United manager and former Bologna coach Ruben Emolian also saw him as a potential striker candidate. However, Zuyundas, with a limited budget in the transfer market, offered Duglas Reis in exchange. Douglas-Reis, despite joining Aston Villa for a fee of £42.3million, coach Moda has had reservations about his fitness and attitude to training and has only made two appearances so far this season.
However, 26-year-old Douglas Reyes has been hailed as a top-class defensive midfielder after his impressive performances in the Premier League. His outstanding defensive ability and excellent ball control skills fit perfectly into the 3-4-3 formation advocated by Emolian, and is expected to be the ideal successor to veteran Kasmiru.
