Liverpool illustrated the majesty of the Premier League with the heroics of Luis Diaz in the UEFA Europa League double header on Wednesday (6). The playmaker scored a hat-trick to give the Reds a 4-0 home sweep over Vaucusun to make it four wins in four this season. Liverpool leader Schillo's leadership was on full display with the win, proving in action that he is more than a match for rival coach Shabibi Alonso, who is not just going to be the heir apparent to the Reds' famous name, but a true skipper.

These two teams have not met in a European Union match since almost 20 years ago. For Shabibi Alonso, it was a significant return to the Anfield Stadium for the first time as a coach. In the first half of the match, Shelly Meferimbang scored for Leverkusen but the goal was disallowed due to a handball foul.

Liverpool avoided disaster in what was a close game and the second half was a godsend, with Diaz breaking the deadlock with an individual effort on 61 minutes. Immediately afterwards, Mohamed Shana's precise cross from the right was easily headed in by Gap. Just before the game's final whistle, Shana delivered another assist and Diaz scored twice, adding a second in stoppage time to complete his hat-trick. The Colombian international deservedly won the man of the match honors for his outstanding performance.

After the game, Liverpool leader Schlow gave high praise to Diaz: Colombian, Liverpool fans are very fond of him, often hear the fans sing for him, as a leader, I also very much appreciate him. In the coaching of the 16 games, Schlow led Liverpool achieved 14 wins and 1 loss, the team's history of the best results in the same period of the new coach.

After former Reds coach Jurgen Klopp left the club this summer, Shabibi Alonso was once regarded as his successor, but in the end Liverpool chose the unheralded Shilo. This win certainly proves that Liverpool made the right choice.
