Manchester United's Brazilian winger Mafioso Anthony is fading in the minds of the fans after appearing in just four matches this season, with only a single place in the English league. According to inside sources, the club side has resolved not to delay any longer and plans to sell, loan or move him during the winter transfer window. Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Ajax of Holland have all shown strong interest in him.

Although Anthony had been Tanhag's favorite under Ajax, with the club paying a whopping €100 million transfer fee for him in 2022, the statistic of collecting just 12 goals in 86 games over two years seems to prove that his move was a blunder. Tanhag himself struggled to protect him, let alone the rest of his teammates. This comes after Coach Chung warned him about his performances, having made just two league appearances so far this season and just one appearance in a European tournament, which was in the English League Cup.

It has been reported that United have decided to send Anthony away, a move that has immediately sparked positive discussions with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, with Ajax also set to recall him. It is estimated that United may only recoup 20% of the original transfer fee. However, wherever Anthony ends up, his chapter at United has already come to an end. Unless there is a dramatic turn of events, most players will leave in the winter transfer window.
