In Wednesday's (16th) passionate match, Argentina's soccer team thrashed Bolivia 6-0 at home, and the king of the ball, Mez, was even more remarkable, as he scored five goals in the South American qualifier, including a hat-trick of three goals and two assists, which was undoubtedly a divine performance. All the fans at the game gave the 37-year-old a standing ovation and paid tribute to him.

However, Argentina had previously drawn 1-1 with world-class powerhouse Venezuela in a high-profile match, in which Mez did not show exceptional strength and was once the subject of public ridicule. But he certainly played a key role in this crucial battle. Only 19 minutes into the game, Meis opened the scoring record. In the first half, he gave two precise assists to help Nadalu Martinez and Zulian Ivaris break through the goal, and Argentina led 3-0 at the end of the first half.

At the change of ends, substitute player Gauai Meda added another goal, and despite the situation being set, Meis remained highly focused. Towards the end of the game, he scored two more goals in the last six minutes to complete a perfect hat-trick. Thousands of fans stood up in excitement to honor him, and some even burst into tears.

Mez's goal in the match brought his career total to 846 goals and increased his assists to 377. Argentina currently tops the South American qualifying table, three points ahead of second-place Colombia.
