After a period of financial gloom, FC Barcelona has finally turned the corner. The latest financial report for the 2023/24 financial year shows that the club has managed to turn a profit of 12 million euros, which, although small, is a positive "blood transfusion" for the club's financial situation.

In the last season, Barcelona's financial situation has been comprehensively improved. The sponsorship income was as high as 210 million euros, which set a new record for the club; the merchandising income was nearly 1.1 billion euros, which set a new record; in addition, through the sale of players such as Oswin Dibili and Kissell, the club reaped more than 80 million euros in transfer fees. In terms of strictly controlling the wage bill, Barcelona cut the total wage bill from 670 million euros to 500 million euros, realizing an open source of income and expenditure.

Looking ahead, the club is optimistic about its financial position this year and expects to make a profit of €5 million and continue its profitability momentum.
