Former Newcastle & Liverpool striker veteran Anzu Kallur has opted to join Bordeaux FC, who have been relegated to Fading, amidst the turbulence of the new season. It is rumored that his transfer formalities have been successfully completed and his debut match will be played this Saturday.

Kallur, 35, spent last season with French B-division side Emiens and despite contributing just four goals and one assist in 28 games, he made the decision to leave his original team for Bordeaux after a brief appearance earlier this season.

The young Newcastle talent, looking at Bordeaux's current squad, was pleasantly surprised to find that English wing Amadou Dialou, also from Newcastle, will join forces as Bordeaux's comrades in arms this season.
