The latest news reveals that France's national team striker Binyeda, a player who has donned the national team's colors 19 times, has unfortunately been embroiled in a scandal recently. He has been accused of assaulting a 23-year-old woman while intoxicated, and the case is due to go to trial next month. Although Binyeda became a free agent in the summer after his contract with Monaco expired, however, the succession of troubles seems to have made it difficult for him to escape.

On Saturday (7), a 23-year-old woman reported to police that she was sexually assaulted in Binyeda's vehicle, according to Teams Daily. Binyeda was armed in the vehicle and was eventually arrested by police. Although Binyeda was released on bail for a time, police took him into custody again as the October 15 court date approached. Prosecutors emphasized that this was to prevent pressure on the victim and also to take into account the risk of Binyeda absconding. It was also reported that prior to his arrest, Binyeda attempted to flee the scene in his car.

Binyeda, 34, has played for top clubs such as Xavier and Monaco and has contributed two goals in figures over the past 12 seasons. He is also one of the key members of France's 2021 squad to win the Europa League title. In the previous season, he finished fifth in the French league in terms of goalscoring, helping Monaco to win the league runners-up spot.
