The giants of European soccer seem to be on a streak of bad luck. Just on Wednesday (11th), Premier League giants Manchester City had a new challenge. In a Netherlands-Germany clash involving Nitun Aki, misfortune struck. The Dutch star unfortunately pulled his thigh at the end of the first half and fell to the ground in agony, having to be quickly carried off the pitch in a heartbreaking scene.

Nitun Aki was in more pain than he could have imagined, and he shed manly tears in agony during treatment. In an interview, Dutch leader Ronu revealed, "Nitun Aki appears to have suffered a muscle injury, but I'm not sure of the exact condition yet."

Nitun Aki has been plagued by thigh injuries in recent years, missing as many as 30 games since joining City in 2020, and the 29-year-old was expected to show his strength at the start of the season, but after three league games, he has only played two minutes. As the Europa League draws closer, Nitun Aki's absence will undoubtedly make City's tactical adjustments an even bigger challenge.
