Premier League rivals Arsenal's captain Martin Odigat suffered a serious injury during a recent European tournament. The Norwegian international took a flight back to the UK on Tuesday (10th), but the injury was so severe that he was struggling to walk with the aid of crutches. Austrian midfielder Bam Gartner took to social media to publicly apologize for Odigat's accidental injury.
Odigatte had the misfortune to twist his left ankle in a world war against Austria and was injured by Bamgatena's flying tackle. After the match, he was rushed back to London on a private jet but was unable to stand due to the pain and had to use crutches. He will undergo further MRI tests. It is predicted that Odigathe is expected to be away to Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's (15) match.
On Wednesday, Bamgatner also posted an apology on social media, expressing his apologies and best wishes to Odegat: I sincerely apologize to Odegat, I in no way meant any harm, and I wish you a speedy recovery and a stronger return to the field!
