Inside news, Premier League giants Manchester City are renewing their contract with top scorer Aynin Xalant, who is expected to receive a hefty pay rise and is expected to become the highest-paid "salary king" in the team. But the negotiations have not been smooth sailing, and the differences between the two sides seem to be quietly escalating.

Despite the fact that Ayn Rand still has a three-year contract with Manchester City, the senior management of the Blue Moon has been unable to hold back and is eager to open a contract renewal dialog with him. It is reported that if the contract is successfully renewed, Ayn Rand's weekly salary is expected to surpass that of teammate Chiyun Dibny's £425,000 (about HK$4.35 million), becoming the Premier League's new "King of High Salary" at once.

City have splashed the cash in order to solidify their squad, but the only requirement is to remove the liquidated damages clause to reduce the risk of being overpriced by other clubs. Recall that Xalante's contract at Dormont had a default clause set at a whopping £51million, which is deeply worrying for City.

Nonetheless, Enin Charlante's team remains adamant about retaining the default clause to keep more options open for the future. As for the ending of this contract extension battle, it remains an unknown contest.
