The upcoming season is about to kick off with the debut of European soccer juggernaut Tottenham Hotspur. Right at the end of the month in the upcoming first round clash, the Karabakh side is facing a suspension and captain Kristian Romero is also set to be suspended. The Argentine international originally faced a red card warning for accumulating yellow cards earlier in the season and now has an outstanding debt.

Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League in the round of 16 last year by AC Milan, with Kristian Romero accumulating two yellow cards and a red card in the match, stopping his team in their tracks. Since then, Tottenham have not set foot in Europe and have not finished a single match. The UEFA has made it clear that suspensions are valid for up to two years, but Ghislain Romero's red card is only 18 months old and is still retroactive.

Ghislain Romero has always been the soul of the Tottenham defense. His deputy, Yundi Yin, is currently trying to recover. If the two pillars are absent at the same time, the team will be at risk of losing points.
