Saudi Arabia's powerhouse Aynas suffered a surprise 1-4 defeat to Hilal in the Saudi Premier League final, a result that has seen superstar Cron question the performance of his teammates. Rumors swirled, claiming that Crown's demand for the dismissal of the four foreigners had reached his ears. Sure enough, the club responded quickly, announcing that the contract with 31-year-old Brazilian star Aleix Dinis would only last one year, and that the contract was then terminated. He is about to join Barclays Premier League newcomers Bautista Falcao.

Looking back to last summer, Alexis Dinis moved from Manchester United to Ainas, signing a two-year deal with a whopping annual salary of £7 million (about HK$72 million). Despite collecting just three goals in 40 games last season, the two sides decided to end their partnership a year early.

The move by Ainas was reportedly made to free up the foreign aid slot for the newly joined, RB Leipzig-invested French defender, Schmagan. Now that Alexis Dinis is back to free agency, various clubs have thrown in the towel. According to "Transfer Authority" journalist Fabrizio Romano, he has already reached an agreement with Bautista, and the two sides will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract.
