The English Premier League is in a state of flux. Although Manchester City is in the ascendancy for a while, Arsenal is making a comeback with the intention of winning the game. However, the "double red match" between Manchester United and Liverpool is still the center of attention.

As the two sides head into the third round of the competition, the pace seems to be too fast. The "Reds" Liverpool are in top form, unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches under coach Tannhäuser, and are preparing for this clash with confidence.

In contrast, United have had a slightly tougher start to the season with a thrilling win in their first game but a mediocre performance overall. Their last game was an improvement, but they were shut out by Bradenton. Looking at their first two matches, I think it's better to play a genuine No.9 striker rather than a pseudo-center, as it allows the flanks to concentrate on the breakthrough, as demonstrated by Amit Diarlo's goal. Alejandro Canazo also came close to breaking the deadlock, but unfortunately, they missed the chance due to offside. Considering that Liverpool's defense has shrunk in the middle this season, I assume that their sides will be key.

In terms of side threats, Liverpool's main man Mohammed Shah scored twice in his first two Premier League games, and has scored 11 goals and dished out three assists in his last 13 games, making him undoubtedly the Red Devils' top defensive target.

Liverpool have a plethora of quality players, but as a whole they have an impressive record of going undefeated in 11 pre-season matches. Last season's away record was even brighter, with 34 points and only 3 defeats. In addition to their away form at Ottoford, Liverpool have also recorded a number of good results at the Theater of Dreams, including a couple of 5-0 wins. Certainly, I don't think they'll let that win slip away easily this weekend.

The Reds players seem to have settled into Schlow's footballing philosophy as they step onto the red pitch with confidence, ready to shine on the field. And while it is yet to be seen if Manchester United have found their best formation, they may have to pay the price against such a strong Liverpool side. Therefore, I predict Liverpool will have the last laugh.
