England midfield superstar Mason Mount suffered an injury in his first season at Manchester United. Although he was expected to make a comeback this season and was favored by the coach in his first three matches, however, a surprising news came on Thursday (29th) - he unfortunately suffered a thigh muscle injury and is expected to be out for 4-5 weeks.

Masonmont spoke out via social media platforms, "During the last bout, I detected a hint of muscle discomfort. After examination, I'm afraid I'll have to miss a few races. Since my pre-season preparations, I have been working tirelessly to improve my form. Today, I have decided to announce this year's injury in person. I know how much you all expect of me and I am equally disappointed. But please believe that I will do my best to return to the field as soon as possible and contribute my strength to the team."

According to British media revelations, Masonmont's injury this time is to the thigh muscle, and the recovery cycle is estimated to be four to five weeks. Last year, he moved from Chelsea to Manchester United for a transfer fee of up to £60 million, but last season he only made 14 league appearances, of which only five were selected to start.
