There are rumors in the continental media that Liverpool's summer reinforcements are about to begin, targeting Valencia goalkeeper Madashuveli. Once the deal is finalized, Madashuveli will remain on loan for Valencia for one season, and the Georgian star will play for his hosts in his first Premier League season at the age of 23.

Madashuveli's transfer fee is said to be as high as £25.6 million, or about HK$256 million, with a potential floating fee of up to £4.3 million. Given the age and injury situation of Liverpool's current keeper, Elisenbiga, the team originally planned to loan Madashuveli to Gonemouth to gain experience, but in the end, the goalkeeper himself preferred to stay in Valencia.

Since joining Valencia in 2021, the nearly two-meter tall Madashuveli has made 100 appearances, including 31 shutouts. This year's performances with the national team have been equally stunning, helping the Georgian side reach the last 16 of the Europa League. However, they were unable to escape defeat against the Spanish champions.

Madashuveli is undoubtedly the best replacement for Elisenbiga, who is 31 years old and has been plagued by injuries in recent years, and the team is in dire need of a reliable goalkeeper to take over.
