Chelsea's first match of the season is a tough one, but thankfully, they will be able to play at their own stadium instead of away to the powerful Manchester City.

New leader Maliska, the former City player development coach, has nostalgia for the days when he played alongside Gaudio. But today, he must let go of old feelings and hope his team can withstand City's onslaught.

Mariska took over and brought a new soccer philosophy to Chelsea. So far, it seems that the players are still adjusting to the change. It will take time for the new coach's mark to show. However, Maliska's precise control of players' positions in the game and his strategy of trying to dominate the game through ball possession are very different from the team's past high-pressure, fast-break style.

The leader's job is not only limited to on-field tactics, but also dealing with off-field strife. Chelsea has 50 players, and keeping them happy and maintaining team unity will be a big challenge for Maliska. Fans are frustrated by the departures of Gianluca Alejandro and Dulio Chalobah, who were both youth talents of the team. The new additions will have to win over the fans quickly.

Chelsea's captain, Jimenez, will miss the game due to suspension, and Lugutu is expected to take his place. As a former goalkeeper, I've been impressed with his performances, especially in the pre-season warm-up games.

Manchester City kicked off the new season by beating Manchester United in the Community Shield. As I predicted, City ended up winning the title, with a strong squad and star power to get them over the line.

Whether Kialisch will be back in time is still unknown. With key players such as Kiljuiga, Stones, Lodi Kasjandi and Phil Cotton not having played for the team since the European finals, this could be a great opportunity for Chelsea. But in the meantime, Chieuendibni, Shelly Medjugorje, Rigoletto Levis and Rubin Dyas are expected to return to the lineup.

Despite City being unbeaten in two league matches, Chelsea have failed to win in their last six matches against City, including four at Stamford Bridge. However, I don't think there will be a repeat in this match as it's only the first league match between the two sides this season. I predict City will beat Chelsea again.
