Arsenal are secretly planning a strong move to join the club in their bid to win the Premier League crown and have reportedly reached an agreement with Spanish midfield star Mikiel Marinu. The European soccer superstar is expected to renew his relationship with coach Martyn Odegat after the move. According to the Spanish media, 28-year-old Malenu has given his nod to join Arsenal, with the transfer fee expected to be as high as nearly 30 million euros. Given that he has just one year left on his contract with Real Sussex, Arsenal are expected to complete the acquisition at a lower cost. After helping the Spanish national team win the UEFA Nations Cup, Malenu made his official return to Real Sociedad on Tuesday (6) and the transfer is expected to be finalized shortly.
Malenu spent six seasons at Real Sociedad and helped the team win the Western Conference in 2020. At that time, his midfield partner was none other than Odigat, who was on loan from Real Madrid.
