Manchester United's new striker Joshua Schukes has arrived at the Carrington training camp to kick off his preparations. In an interview, the 23-year-old Dutch international was asked by fans if he would be the right hand man for the team. Referring to former teammate Musyana's role as a "lobbyist", Shukes responded flatly: "That was tried."
With Shukes' autographed jersey just out of the car, the questioner followed up with, "Can you get Musyana to join Manchester United?" Shukes replied firmly: "It's been tried." There was no doubt in his voice.
Shukes honed his skills at Bayern Munich's youth camp and contributed four goals in 17 games. He played alongside Musciana until two years ago when Schukes officially left the club to join Bologna. Despite this, the duo have always kept in touch. And Muschiana is having a great season in Europe. United fans were hoping to sign the 21-year-old German international to play alongside Schukes. However, Musjana is firmly established at Bayern and is not for sale. It's no wonder that Schukes' transfer efforts ultimately "failed".
