In the heat of the summer, United welcomed in French star Jolo in one fell swoop, while the names of Banfweidi and Mafis Dilicte loomed large on the list of rumored new recruits. 31-year-old Harry Magooni seemed to be a casualty, facing rumors of his departure, but he didn't back down, facing the rumors head-on and firmly stating that he is still a fighting force for United.

"Frankly speaking, I'm familiar with all the rumors about me, but as far as I know, I'm still an integral part of the team's blueprint for the future. I am extremely proud to play for Manchester United and am ready to work alongside the team for more title glory." Halimaguni's tone was full of determination.

Halimaguni came close to leaving the club in last summer's transfer window but eventually stayed with the team and proved his worth with excellent performances. However, an injury late in the season caused him to miss the chance to represent England in Europe. Nevertheless, he has been included in United's 'USA Tour' squad and is expected to be back in action in the warm-up matches.
