Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have a lump in their throat after losing a superstar in Kylian McBarbie and are desperate to bring in a powerful winger to bolster their squad. According to The Athletic, PSG have targeted Bilbao's young talent Nicolas Williams. Although the 22-year-old Spanish international still has three years left on his contract with Bilbao, the default fee is only 60 million euros (about HK$510 million.) With PSG's financial strength, the buyout issue will be a breeze.

Nicolas Williams has played six games in Europe this year, contributing two goals and one assist. His excellent dribbling and breaking ability makes the left attack of the Spanish team like a tiger adding wings, thus attracting the attention of many giants. Barcelona is also eyeing him with the intention of replicating the Spanish model of two wings flying together. However, although Barcelona is rich and powerful, but I am afraid that the road of acquisition is not a straight road.

On the contrary, PSG's gold dollar policy has remained unchanged. 60 million euro default fee is just a drop in the bucket for them. Moreover, Coach Anriki has coached the Spanish national team and has favored Nicolas Williams. Once he makes his voice heard, I'm sure the starlet will gladly follow.

It is worth mentioning that PSG has been gradually "westernizing" its tactics in recent years. In addition to Anriki, the Spanish coach, there are four Spanish players in the team: Fabian Pena, Marco Arcíncio, Carruthers Suna and Tanas. If Nicolas Williams can join the team, he should have no problem adapting to the new environment.
