Manchester United have brought in Lille's iron-clad midfielder Jolo for a record £52 million (HK$520 million). Yolo, who has just turned 18, had his first training session with United on Friday (19) and won plaudits for his stunning performance. It is understood that he is expected to take on the Glasgow side in a warm-up match on Saturday night (20).

The 1.90-meter tall young player was warmly embraced by his teammates when he stepped into United's training base. He gave his all in training, with incredible speed and precise passing, winning applause from his teammates from time to time.

In the interview, Yoro said, "Since my first contact with Manchester United, I have a clear plan for my future. I am looking forward to the blueprint of the club's development. The club also attaches great importance to my life in the UK, especially with my family. I know that Manchester United is a team committed to unlocking the potential of young players and I look forward to pushing the boundaries here." United will play a warm-up match against Glasgow on Saturday (20) at 11:00pm Hong Kong time, and it will be interesting to see if Yorro can shine in the match.
