Bayern's solid back-up Muffes Dillet is facing a fierce Europa League campaign while he has been quietly waiting on the bench for four crucial matches. This gap has provided him with valuable time to deal with the hassle of a personal transfer. He is reported to have agreed a deal with United, despite being asked to make personal sacrifices and even willing to accept a pay cut. As soon as Bayern's transfer fee is paid, the deal is imminent.

The 24-year-old Dutch international has been the subject of much controversy in the national team, but United manager Ron Arnold seems convinced of his potential. On the Europa League stage, Jakiel Eriksen and Timo Werner were the starters, while Mathias Dillet was that only uncredited defender. However, his presence does not seem to have attracted too much attention. Manchester United and new coach Eric Tanhag, however, have extremely high expectations for him.

According to multiple sources, Mathias Dirichlet has accepted Manchester United's transfer terms and made concessions on his personal terms. He will reportedly drop from Bayern's €15 million annual salary (about HK$126 million) to €12 million (about HK$100 million), a difference of €3 million.

Meanwhile, Bayern is planning to make changes to its personnel, despite the opposition of some fans who believe that the team should stick to its beliefs. And what Bayern needs to do is to break the existing lineup. The agreed transfer fee is said to be around 50 million euros (about HK$420 million).
