Recently, the Crystal Palace Football Club in England came to the happy news that the 27-year-old Japanese international footballer Dida joined the team on a free and signed a two-year contract with the team. This move makes Crystal Palace the third team in Europe to have the word "Eagle" after the Frankfurt Eagles and Russell Blue Eagles.

It's worth noting that Dida worked with Crystal Palace's current leader, Glasner, during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt. Between 2021 and 2022, they won the Champions League together. Now that the two have reunited, Crystal Palace are looking forward to the arrival of the Japanese midfielder.

According to Crystal Palace's official website, Dida is regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe. His addition will bring a wealth of experience and outstanding quality to the team. Glasner also said, "I'm delighted that Dida is joining Crystal Palace and we look forward to playing alongside him in future matches. I'm sure the fans will enjoy his performance as well."

Dida began his career with Tosu Sandwiches in Japan and started to make a name for himself in the Europa League in 2017, joining Eintracht Frankfurt and contributing 40 goals in 179 appearances for the team over a five-year period. Last season, he moved to Lazio and despite making fewer appearances, he still managed two goals and two assists. In the new season, he will move to the Premier League to play for Crystal Palace.
