Brazil bounced back quickly from their opening Group D loss to defend their national honor with a 4-1 comeback against Paraguay thanks to the firepower of Samba soccer in Saturday's thrilling match. Yunis Oszulia saved the day in the controversial final game, scoring two solo goals and proving with his strength that he is undoubtedly the sharpest striker in the Brazilian lineup.

Although Brazil were initially slightly passive against Costa Rica, ending in a 0-0 draw, and Yunis Oszulia did not score, he missed all six of his shots on goal, and the public outcry was almost doubly humiliating. The 23-year-old Real Madrid winger was underwhelming in the 31-minute first half of the contest.

However, the tide turned in the second half. Just four minutes later, Lucas Berqueda gave an assist to Yunis Oszulia to open the scoring, and then 20-year-old Savio scored in front of the goal to give Brazil a 2-0 lead. Then Yunis Ozturia added another goal to give Brazil a 3-0 lead at the end of the first half.

In the second half of the match, Paraguayan center back Aidar Reddy scored a goal to make it 1-3, but then a Paraguayan teammate took another handball in the penalty area and Brazil was awarded a penalty kick. Lucas Berqueda capitalized on the opportunity to make it 4-1, and Brazil needed only a draw against Colombia to advance to the last eight. Colombia, on the other hand, thrashed Costa Rica 3-0 to lock up a spot in the tournament early. Paraguay has lost all two of its matches and has bid an early farewell to the tournament.
