Across the British Isles, fans are known for a good drink. Especially during the match between Scotland and Switzerland, pubs are doing a brisk business.

According to the British media, after the two group matches on Saturday, Scottish fans collectively boiled over, with more than 50,000 people gathering to party after one of the matches. Not only did they drink a total of 1 million pints (568,000 liters) of Köln beer, but they also sold wine in the city.

Some bars are predicting that close to 100,000 dollars of Three Lions fans will flock to Cologne to cheer on their favorite team. Bar owners have been given the opportunity to "save their tans" with the start of transportation operations on Sunday, and their drink sales have increased dramatically. If the service is not good, business could be slow; if the British fans do not perform well, the consequences could be disastrous.

The German authorities foresee a boom in wine sales and they can't wait to get in touch with manufacturers. On Monday and Tuesday, they shipped nearly 2.5 million pieces of beer (about 1.42 million liters). I'm sure British fans will be able to drink their hearts out here.
